All of our staff are committed criminal defence practitioners and work closely together as a team bringing their collective skills and attributes together for the benefit of our clients.

Andy Holliday

Andy is the Managing Director of our Firm.

Andy originally joined the firm as a trainee solicitor and has been with the company ever since, working to his current position.

He is recognised as our specialist in Motoring and regulatory matters as well as being very much the ‘lawyers lawyer’ in Court due to his detailed legal knowledge and experience.

He is a member of the Duty Solicitor Scheme in Wrexham.

Bethan Jones

Bethan is a Director and is another highly experienced criminal practitioner.

She has worked in North Wales for many years and is extremely well liked, particularly for her presentation at Court and friendly manner.

Bethan is regarded as one of the areas most effective trial advocates by her colleagues and opponents in court.

Bethan is a member of the Duty Solicitor Scheme in Wrexham.

Denise Macmillan

Denise is a Director in the firm and a very experienced Accredited Police Station Representative who came to work for us after gaining several years’ experience at another local company.

She wished to develop her career with our specialist criminal team and was attracted by our reputation for dealing with heavyweight crime.

She enjoys a reputation for being a formidable defender of client’s who are in police custody ensuring that their rights are protected.

Alun Williams

Alun Joined the firm in July 2017 having been with 2 other local firms previously.

Alun brings a wealth of experience, acute legal knowledge and has higher rights of audience which means he can represent clients in the Crown Court.

Alun is a member of the Duty Solicitor scheme in Wrexham and is a fluent Welsh speaker.

Laura Macmillan

Laura’s journey to becoming a solicitor has been a dedicated one. Starting off with Abraham Solicitors as an admin assistant she gained qualifications whilst she worked with us to further her career. She then put herself through university and obtained a training contract with a large Merseyside firm to gain further experience before returning to the firm to complete her training to become a solicitor. Her dedication and hard work has meant she has now fully qualified as a Duty Solicitor and has been accepted as a member on the Wrexham Duty Solicitor Scheme.

Mareesa Smith

Mareesa joined the firm in September 2023 starting as a Trainee Solicitor following a recruitment process. Mareesa is currently working towards her Police Station Accreditation to enable her to represent clients in the Police Station.
